Worldwide Homes opened in 1969 by the Blanchard family in Vidor, TX. The Blanchard’s owned and operated the dealership until 1980, when they made the decision to retire. Worldwide was sold and the name was changed by the new owners.

 

Tommy Blanchard, one of the Blanchard’s 5 children, settled with his family in Lumberton, TX and made the decision to open a mobile home dealership in 1993. Tommy grew up at his parent’s dealership and had a lifetime of knowledge regarding sales, construction, set-up and service. What better name could he have chose than Worldwide Homes for his new dealership!

 

Since opening, Worldwide Homes has played a substantial part in providing quality and reliable housing for residents in the Golden Triangle area. The family-owned and operated dealership has received numerous awards for Top Independent Retailer from manufacturers and lenders throughout their years in operation. Worldwide Homes prides itself on the amazing quality of its Clayton Built inventory, the dependability of its service department, and the reliability of its staff and management.

 

Tommy’s nephew, J’me Blanchard, joined the Worldwide sales team in 2002, and he has led as the general manager since 2015. Tommy, J’me, and many other members of the Blanchard family play a significant role in day-to-day operations and work one-on-one with their valued customers. Every employee and customer of Worldwide Homes is considered family, regardless of their last name!
